By Thursday at 5pm, please email me:

• The domain and theme that interests you most for your final project. If you have more than one, that’s ok. I’m interested in hearing areas and problems that interest you.

• Reflect on how you like to work and then email me your self-reflection. This isn’t a test. I’m genuinely interested in how you like to work. Draw a horizontal line and put one question on the left and one question on the right. Mark out 5 steps. Then score where you think you fall on that 1-5 scale. Do this for both “how you like to solve problems” and “what energizes you most.” Send me a summary or take a picture and send that to me.

1. How You Like to Solve Problems

   • “I like solving problems by breaking them down into parts.”

   • “I like solving problems by imagining new possibilities.”

2. What Energizes You Most

   • “I get energy from generating lots of ideas.”

   • “I get energy from making ideas real and seeing them work.”

For next class, find as many different definitions of “innovation” as you can. Come to class prepared to discuss.
